Obituary For Irene Orosco Hernandez

Irene Orosco Hernandez, 70, of El Paso, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. She was born to the late Octaviano “Toby” and Ruth (Pacheco) Orosco on August 22, 1950, in Truth or Consequences, NM (formally known at Hot Springs). She graduated from Hot Springs High School in 1969. Irene is survived by her daughters – Ruth Addison (Matthew) of Harker Heights, TX and Renee Alvis (Shannon) of Nacogdoches, TX; sister, Patricia Chavez of Williamsburg, NM; brothers - Robert Orosco of Williamsburg, NM and Octaviano Orosco (Jeanette) of Albuquerque, NM. She is also survived by her three wonderful grandchildren – Gabriel and Jared Addison, and Jacob Alvis; beloved nephews and nieces; and many beloved friends and co-workers. Irene was a proud and dedicated Security Officer (S-158) with the Department of Homeland Security/U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Global Precision Systems) for over 20 years. In her spare time, Irene loved to crochet blankets for family and friends and her favorite past time was to visit the casino. She also loved her pet dog, birds, and turtle. Though her smile is gone forever, and her hand we cannot touch, we still have many memories of the one we loved so much. Her memory is our keepsake with which we will never part. God has you in His arms and we will carry you in our hearts. A private Memorial Ceremony will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at the Kirikos Family Funeral Home Chapel, 303 N. Cedar St., T. or C., NM 87901 for immediate family, co-workers and close friends. Inurnment will follow at the Hot Springs Cemetery.
