Ms. Deborah Jean Smith was born to Mrs. Theadora Roberson and the late Oscar Roberson. Deborah graduated from Bass High School. She attended nursing school and worked as a nursing assistant for Dekalb Medical Center and later worked for Krogers for twenty years. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, son, Davion (Carrie) Hardeman; granddaughter Maia Hardeman; mother, Mrs. Theadora Roberson; three sisters, Charlotte Ferrell, Miriam (Michael) Hitchye and Delmarie Cooks; four brothers, Robert Abe Roberson, Curtis Roberson, Wayne Roberson, and Mark Roberson, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
