Obituary For Horace D. Billups, Jr.
SFC (Ret.) Horace D. Billups, Jr., 83, of Radcliff, KY, died on June 22, 2021 at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
Mr. Billups was a native of Richmond, VA and the son of the late Horace D. (Sr.) and Margaret Billups. He was a member of Heritage International Christian Center and retired from the U. S. Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce, in 2020 and one daughter, Lunette "Cookie" Lowe.
Survivors include two daughters, Patrice Howard (Tim) and Kimberly Houston both of Radcliff, KY and one son, Vernon E. Billups, Sr of Jeffersonville, IN.; one brother Edward Washington (Janette); two sisters, Joyce Billups and Connie Derricott (Clyde); fifteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held on at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
