Obituary For Mr. William E. Jenkins

Mr. William E. Jenkins, a child of the late Robert Jenkins and Frances McClain, was born on May 14,1945 in Gadsden, Alabama. During the late evening hours of Sunday, June 26, 2016. Earnest quietly and serenely exchanged this life for eternal peace. Earnest was united in Holy Matrimony to Sylvia Burnell Bush on September 14,1967. To this union one child was born, Nicki Burnell Jenkins. He was a good husband and father, that provided for his family. Earnest spent most of his professional life as Chef and Caterer in the hospitality industry. Earnest is proceeded in death by his wife, Sylvia Burnell Jenkins. Among those who grieve Earnest passing, yet will cherish many loving and funny memories are his daughter, Nicki, Atlanta GA; sisters, Betty Ballard, Dallas, Texas and Glenda Powell, Birmingham, Alabama; brother Phillip (Pearl) Jenkins, Dallas, Texas and Jimmy (Gail) Jenkins, Birmingham, Alabama; sisters-in-law, Fronia M. Bryant, Oxon Hill, Maryland, Lela Carolyn Carlisle, Decatur, Georgia . and Marion Bonner, Clinton, Maryland; Brother-in-law, Dwight Bush, Gadsden, Alabama, Gary Bush, Owens Cross Roads, Alabama, and Donald Bush, Riverside, Rhode Island; special friends, Willie Akins, Atlanta, Georgia, Victory Malone; Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
