Readie V. "Teddy" Wright age 81 passed away June 22, 2021 at his residence.

Survivors include Devoted and Loving Wife Nena Wright; Children Sherrie Wright, Terri Darlene Wright, Renee Batey, Readie V. Wright, Jr., Tashana Ricard, Kenya Ricard, Mauise (Dr. Kyoo) Ricard, and Joseph Ricard; Numerous Grandchildren; Host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Community viewing Tuesday June 29, 2021, 1:00-6:00 PM at Hellum Funeral Chapel. He will lie-in-state Wednesday 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon with funeral to follow at Zion Christian Ministries, 4750 John Bragg Hwy., Murfreesboro, TN 37127,

My prayers & condolences go out to the family of Mr Teddy Wright. He was a coworker, fellow veteran, and comrade with the American Legion Post 177 for many years. Teddy was there to offer me advice & pointers when they threw me on the hardest routes of walking & delivering mail, while training at Mboro Post Office. His encouragement & steadfast advice kept my head when I was struggling to prove myself as a carrier. His route, C-5, was where I worked when he took off. What they thought would make me give up, only made me stronger bc I knew those streets😀. Teddy showed me the ropes & for that - "I am thankful to him"! "Gail"
