Mrs. Joann Merrill, 73

Mrs. Joann Merrill, daughter of the late Joe and Lillie Mae Barber was born on December 12, 1947 in Barwick, Georgia. At an early age, she joined First AB Church in Barwick. Later, she became a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Pavo, Georgia. She departed this life on May 20, 2021 at Archbold Memorial Hospital.

She leaves behind, three sons Robert Merrill, Tony Merrell (Latoshia) and Keith Merrill (Traci); one daughter Sherry Evans (Kevin); special nieces Derbia Lamons and Cherry Lee Smith and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Barwick Westside Cemetery in Barwick with Rev. Herbert Herring officiating. Condolences may be shared by visiting stevensmcgheefuneralhome.com Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
