Obituary For Mr. Lonnie H. Evans

Mr. Lonnie H. Evans, Jr. was born on May 14, 1948 to the late Orciluar (Harris) Evans and Lonnie Evans, Sr. He passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2011. Lonnie was a loving and charismatic person that was very outgoing. He was often called the life of the party and a person of good cheer by others. He was a small business owner with the late Epps Green. Lonnie was a father figure to many children. He enjoyed all sports, however his passion was baseball. During the 1980's, he became a professional wrestler with the WCW and was named the "Brown Bomber". During his life there were many challenges and Lonnie was able to overcome them by accepting Christ as his personal Savior. Lonnie was preceded in death by his brother, Willie Evans. He will be greaty missed by all. Lonnie Evans is survived by son Quintus (Lakisha) Billings; three daughters, Cassandra Billings , Tabitha Hawkins, and Lavender; four sisters, Diane Evans, Lucille Richardson, Elaine Burgess, Karen Evans; three brothers, Leroy Evans, Dwight Evans, Royce Evans; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
