OBITUARY
Walter Austin Kookie Green, Jr. was born on April 26, 1960 in Monticello, Georgia to the late Walter Honey Green, Sr. and Lucille Tiny Mitchell. He departed this life to be with God on December 10, 2006.
Walter attended Avondale High School and later received his training as a painter from The Brunswick Job Corps Center.
Walter was preceded in death by his sister Chandra Shawn Jennings on June 17, 2006.
Walter leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Lucille Mitchell; three sisters, Yvette, Jacqueline and Evonne; two brothers, Justin and Charlie, Jr.; brother-in-law, Horace; two sisters-in-law, Lori and Lorraine; nieces, Chantelle and Alicia; nephews, Terry, Larrelle, Sharmarae, Jamari, Curtrelle, Donnie, Joshua, and Quashad; great niece, Anivea; uncles, aunts, other relative and special friends.
God, in His great mercy, Knew when loved ones had to part, Something special would be needed To bring comfort to the heart. So He gave us each a precious gift Not even time can fade Of reliving tender moments Through the memories that weve made.
Mother- Rest my child I know you were tired.
Our Brother- No more pain, its over now.
Nieces and Nephews- We love you Uncle Kookie

DONT
Dont spend too much time in mourning, tears are for the sad. I left to be with Jesus and this should make you glad. Dont waste your hours in grieving, no need to feel distress. I was tired of lifes frustrations; I had to get some rest. Dont vex yourself with questions, or try to reason why. Life for me has ended; it came my time to die. Dont lose the love I gave you, feed it with your care. Grow it with devotion and spread it everywhere. Dont fret because my leaving came in such a way. We will have another meeting in Gods Eternal Day.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
The Green and Mitchell Families would like to thank each of you for your concern, caring and prayers during our hour of bereavement. We pray that the peace of God which passes all understanding keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.
