Obituary For Claude Lee

Mr. Claude Lee passed.

Celebration of Life for Mr. Claude Lee will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2014 11:00a.m. at Grissom-Clark Eastlake Chapel, Bishop James H. Morton, Pastor, New Beginning Full Gospel Baptist Church, Officiating. Interment, Washington Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Clint Lee well known as “Claude” was the fifth child born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred (Lizzie) Lee on November 14, 1932. God called his name on Thursday morning, January 2, 2014 and he answered, “I’m ready”. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Esther Clark-Lee, two sons, Ranson Clark and Ricky Bernard Lee, one sister Ella Lee-Christian and three brothers, Willie-Albert, George and Richard Lee

He was married to the late Mrs. Esther Clark-Lee. Claude was the proud father of Regina, Clint Lee, Lee-Arthur Clark, Ethellean Clark-Bell, Shirley Ann (John) Clark-Pitts.

He attended School in the Rockdale school system. He was self-employed and owned Claude Lee Janitorial Services. His customers were NBG Bank, Southtrust Bank and Delta’s airlines offices.

Claude was a very soft spoken person, giving and loved his family. He enjoyed traveling to visit his nieces and nephews of New Jersey and Atlanta whom he partied hard with. Claude will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his unforgettable memory to his daughter Regina. A very special grandson whom he raised from a newborn baby with love, Antrivione Jenkins; Clint Lee, Lee-Arthur Clark, Ethellean Clark-Bell, Shirley Ann Clark-Pitts (John). 24 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; his special nieces and nephews of New Jersey and Atlanta; also an angel that God sent to walk beside Claude and Regina during the ending miles of his journey, Deacon Dwayne Earl Banks from the New Beginning Full Gospel Baptist Church; his church family and a host of other relatives and friends.

I'm so sorry for you precious loss. It is never easy to lose a loved one in death. Even Jesus Christ was saddened when his beloved friend Lazarus died. Please look to God for comfort because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7
