Mr. Derrick Lawayne Beck was born on November 24, 1968 in Atlanta, Georgia to Mr. Edward Beck and Mrs. Mable Barden. He was raised by his devoted mother and father Walter Barden.
Derrick attended Briarcliff High School. He loved sports, playing music and having fun with his family and friends. He was known for his outgoing and congenial personality. Wherever he went, he always made a friend. Derrick will be remembered for his bigger than life smile and boisterous laughter.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Walter Lee Barden; two sisters; Lakeysa (Daniel) Sims, and Chena (Derrick) Sanders; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
