Obituary For Mrs. Tamara Jametta Jefferson

Tamara (Tam) Jametta Steele- Jefferson was born on July 28, 1966 in Dallas County, Selma, Alabama to the Late Mr. Jim Steele and Ruth Tate Steele. She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and united with the Ebenezer Baptist Church under the Pastorate of Reverend F. D. Reese.

Tamara made her transition on Wednesday January 10, 2010 at Dekalb Medical Center.

Tamara and husband Warren K. Jefferson were united in marriage on January 7, 1985 and to this union, 5 children were born. Tamera was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents Robert Tate Sr, & Ira Mae Tate Ligon, Paternal Grandparents Greene Steele & Ollie Mae Williams-Steele.

She leaves to cherish her memory, Her Husband Warren K. Jefferson, Sr. 2 Daughters: Ashley Michelle and Genatiyah, 3 Sons: Warren Karl, Jr., Rakim Alleajuah and Nigel Tamir, Her Mother Ms. Ruth Steele all of Atlanta, Ga. 2 Sisters: Tamyka Steele of Marietta, Ga and Niguel Steele of Chattanooga, Tn. 3 Grandchildren: Keosha, Joseph and Moses. 3 Sisters-in-law: Carol J.(Ulysses) Ratcliff of Birmingham, AL, Paula (Edward) Winslow of Tuscaloosa, AL and Patrice Jefferson of Montgomery, AL. 8 aunts, 4 uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
