Dear Family, I am very sorry for your loss. However, Almighty God has provided a guarantee of a resurrection to all men by resurrecting Jesus from the dead. (Psalm 83:18; Acts 17:31) We will be able to see Maxine and our other loved ones again on this earth. Although I never met Maxine personally, I have seen first-hand what an absolutely fine gentleman she has raised from a boy to a man in her son, Glenwood Johnson, Jr. I pray that your eternal rest in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ grants you eternal peace. For the family, especially, Glenwood, may you be perfectly comforted knowing that your beloved Mother has fought the good fight and is now resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I wish you all peace in the coming days, weeks, months, and years as you grieve over your dearly departed Maxine. Abundant Blessings to all.

Dearest GJ and Stores/Johnson Families, I am so sorry to hear of Maxine's passing. My family and I send our deepest condolences to all. Please know that I am praying for all of you for peace, comfort and healing. I met Maxine in 1976 when we opened the Digital Manufacturing facility in Fountain, CO. We both worked in Human resources together. Maxine and GJ were part of the Martinez family and shared holidays and other family gatherings with us. Maxine and I lost track of each other thru various corporate relocations and other life events. She did have an extensive network of people in her life. So proud of the many accomplishments she was able to achieve and I know the Arts and creativity were in her blood. God bless her for her gifts of Spirit and Humor she gave to all of us. We will miss her tremendously and may the Lord's Eternal Light Shine Upon Her. May she rest in the arms of our Heavenly Father. Blessings...Eva Martinez and Ron Coca

Having known you and Maxine since you were 8 or 9 in Colorado Springs, through our dear friend Eva Martinez, we have shared many wonderful moments and memories together about your Dear Mother.. Then meeting you again years later in Seattle as a grown man has been a source of pride and Brotherly love for me. You are a great Man and Maxine was so proud of you, as are everyone that meets you or has ever known you. I am so very sad to hear Maxine has left this place. There are so many all over the country that will feel the loss of her. What a wonderful vibrant, talented spirit she was and will always be. She taught me how to dance like no one was watching and taught the kids in Futureself how to like making magical art with material. I am so sorry for her family and friends, and know they will have many stories they can share forever. I am relieved she is no longer in any pain.

I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Maxine while she was visiting Glenwood, my close friend roommate in Seattle at the time. I remember her as a vibrant force of creative energy and enthusiasm. It was my only experience with her but truly memorable as I'm sure she has impressed so many who have been touched by her spirit. May your divine presence continue to infuse our world with joy and inspiration.
