Obituary

Clark Edward Scales was born on September 5, 1943 in Raleigh, NC to the late Laurence Edward and Irene Clark Scales. He fought a good fight, he kept the faith, he finished his course on June 21, 2021; he fell asleep and woke up with his Heavenly Father.

Clark will long be remembered in the minds and hearts of his loving wife, two children, four siblings, and two grandchildren. Additional survivors include in-laws, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Mr. Scales will be held on Sunday, June 27, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Gardenview Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 28, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at The Coy C. Williamson Jr. Memorial Chapel of Gardenview. Interment will follow in the Athens Memory Gardens.
