DeMarco was a graduate of Grimsley High School where he also received a certificate in Automotive Technician. He also was a graduate from MIT of Texas, and was attending Campbell University School of Pharmacy. He was employed as a Senior Detention Officer for the Guilford County Sheriff's Department for a number of years, and was currently employed at Niced Up Motorsports, Greensboro, NC. He was a member of Greater New Bethel Apostolic Church, Martinsville, VA.
DeMarco leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Autumn Middlebrook of Greensboro, NC, and Rhilynn Draper of Charlotte, NC; one son, Anthony (TJ) Schaefer of Charlotte, NC; his parents, Mary (Wesley) Dickerson of Raleigh, NC; and Rudolph Riley, Sr. of Martinsville, VA; eight sisters, Shanae Draper of Charlotte, NC, Taniesha Eggleston, and Portia Mahan both of Martinsville, VA, Sade Griggs of Raleigh, NC, Afton Dickerson and Kirsten (Nicholas) Stanford both of Washington, DC, Veronique Martin of Bassett, VA, and Latoya Dickerson of Georgia; three brothers, Jui Shelton of Martinsville, VA, Rudolph "Rudy" Riley, Jr. of Maryland, and Anthony McCain of Lynchburg, VA; God grandmother, Mamie Geter of Martinsville, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 12:30 until 1 p.m. at the C.R.V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at Hairston Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Gregory Norman, Eulogist. A public viewing will be held on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Hairston Funeral Home between the hours of 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. In accordance with the CDC, a face covering, and social distancing is required. Burial will be private.
