Mr. Franklin Bernard Cloud was born April 27, 1956 in Atlanta, Georgia to Mrs. Carrie Mae Collins Cloud and Frank Cloud. Franklin departed this life on December 28, 2007. He was preceded in death by his brother Eric Allan Cloud.

Franklin grew up in Atlanta. He attended the Atlanta Public School System. At an early age, he joined Meditation Hour of Faith Church.

Franklin leaves to cherish his memory, his loving parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Carrie) Cloud; very special friend, Ms. Betty Hobbs; seven children, Franklin B. Cloud, Jr., Latisha Cillery, Lenard C. Gary, Nekita D. Middlebrooks, Octavia Cloud, Britney F. James, and Carrie B. James; two sisters, Mrs. Deborah Cloud Riley and Mrs. Sabrenia Cloud Denson; three brothers, Mr. Alvin Cloud, Mr. Michael Cloud and Mr. Derrick (Janice) Cloud; eleven grandsons, 5 granddaughters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
