Obituary For Roosevelt Toliver

Roosevelt Eugene “Punch” Toliver age 70 of Stanley, North Carolina transitioned on Friday, June 25, 2021 at CaroMont Health, Gastonia, North Carolina.

He was born in Lincoln County, North Carolina on July 15, 1950 the son of the late Roosevelt Luther Toliver and Helen Sue Clark Toliver. He was a 1968 graduate form Newbold High School, a United States Army Veteran and retired from the United States Postal Service. He was a member of Moore’s Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 3, 2021 in White’s Family Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. On Friday, July 2, 2021 the family will receive friends at the home from 12:00 noon until.

Masks are required for all services. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kinya Renee McClean, a sister, Sandra T. Little, a brother, Johnny Michael Tolliver and grandmother, Ruth Hamright.

Survivors are three daughters, Kimberly McLean, Conswella Michelle Forney, Jannica Foster; three brothers, Richard Tolliver, David Tolliver (Rev. Donna), Boyce Tolliver; five sisters, Deborah Adams, Marie Odum, Ruth Magness (Darwin), Helen Jean Clark, Linda Wilson; sister-in-law, Phyllis Tolliver, brother-in-law, Donnie Little, sixteen grandchildren sixteen great grandchildren
