MRS. ELNORA GOODMAN DUNBAR

OPELOUSAS - Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, 1606 W. College Ave., Opelousas, LA for Mrs. Elnora Goodman Dunbar, 89, who entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Senior Village Nursing Home in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.

Rev. Frank L. Ford, Pastor of Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, will be officiating the funeral service.

Mrs. Dunbar leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Robert Dunbar of New Orleans, LA and Harry Dunbar of Opelousas, LA; one daughter, Susan Lewis of Opelousas, LA; twelve grandchildren, Cornell Williams, Spencer Williams, Tito J. Ned (Minta), Allison D. Farrior (Ronald), Roberta Dunbar (Herman), Nancy Lewis-Smith (Overton), Tamekia Dunbar (Terrell), Tina Dunbar (Kenneth), Harry Dunbar, Jr., Perry Fontenot, III (Ciara), Larry Frank (Crystal) and Cornelius Lewis (Raven); twenty-eight great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her husband, St. Louis Dunbar, Sr.; her parents, Lee Myers and Camilla Goodman; three sons, St. Louis Dunbar, Jr., Larry Dunbar and Allen Dunbar; one daughter, Gloria Ned; and one son-in-law, Edward Lewis.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Community Chapel C.O.G.I.C.
