Mr. David James Jefferson, Jr. passed January 31, 2013.

Celebration of Life service for Mr. David Jefferson, Jr. will be held Friday, February 8, 2013 12 NOON at Emmanuel Spiritual Holy Temple, 697 Wylie St., S.E., Reverend Beverly A. Heard, Pastor, Minister Anthony Jefferson, officiating. Interment Chestnut Hills Cemetery. Remains instate 11:00am.

Mr. David James Jefferson, Jr. was born to the late Mr. David James Jefferson, Sr., and Mrs. Irma Jefferson on July 22, 1963 in Atlanta, Georgia.

He was the oldest child of four children. He attended the Atlanta Public schools and later received his GED. David was a member of Emmanuel Spiritual Holy Temple under the leadership of Rev. M. L. Sharlow and Minister Beverly Heard where he sang in the choir for many years. He was employed as a Security Officer for Lyons Security Company.

David will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Mrs. Irma Jefferson; three daughters Alanna, Nina, and Makilah; two stepchildren, Jonquelle and Carlion; three sisters, Sandra (Tony), Jennifer and Selena (Mrs. Pearl Jefferson); former wife, Mrs. Teri Jefferson; fiancé La Tasha Grimes; three uncles, seven aunts, several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
