Obituary For Alphonso Fain

Graveside service for Mr. Alphonso Fain of Talladega, 75, will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Knoxville Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. on Friday, July 2, 2021, at the funeral home.

Mr. Alphonso Fain began his earthly journey in Talladega, Alabama on September 7, 1945, entrusted in the care of his mother, Mary Jane Fain.

Alphonso found his church home at New Hope United Methodist Church. He was educated in the schools of the city of Talladega. After completing his education, Alphonso worked for S & R Lumber Company.

On Wednesday, June 30, 2021, Mr. Fain began his eternal journey at Citizens Baptist Medical Center. He was preceded on this journey by his mother, Mary Jane Fain; and a nephew, Joe Louis Fain, Jr.

Cherished memories will remain in the hearts of his loved ones: a brother, Joe L. Fain of Talladega, Alabama; a niece, Angela Fain of Talladega, Alabama; a nephew, Tracy (Simone) Phayne of Columbia, South Carolina; special caregivers, Mattie Pearl Elston and Tiffany Jackson of Talladega, Alabama; and a host of other relatives and friends.
