Obituary For Verdelle Elston

It is with great sorrow that the family of Verdelle Elston shares the news of her passing on June 25, 2021. A celebration of life for Verdelle Elston will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Hillandale Memorial Gardens (6201 Hillandale Dr., Lithonia, GA 30058). Viewing will take place Friday, July 2, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home (5843 Redan Road, Lithonia, GA 30058).

Verdelle was preceded in death by her parents C.V. Elston and Louise Elston-Ragland; siblings, Lena Louise Elston, C. V. Elston, Mildred Elston, Leon Elston, Michael Elston and Burtis Elston.

Verdelle is survived by three children, Jerry Ronell (Malisa) Vincent, Camelia Diane Vincent and Shae (Terez) Dunn of metro Atlanta; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren of metro Atlanta; siblings, Lois (Joe) Hancock of Talladega, AL, Margaret Deselle of Columbus, GA, Linda Gail Estell of Columbus, GA, Tanya (Larry) Turner of Lincoln, AL, Ed Walter Ragland of Pine Mountain Valley, GA and Daryl (Sandra) Ragland of Buena Vista, GA.
