Katherine Diop, 29 of Harlem, New York was a loving mother, daughter, sister, amazing friend, and beautiful soul. She left this world suddenly on June 16, 2021. Katherine was born in New York City on July 13, 1991 to the parents of Katherine Wise and Joseph Diop. Katherine was a phenomenal mother who dedicated her life to making sure that her beautiful 7-year old daughter wanted or needed for nothing. She was committed to not only establishing a great life for her and her daughter but one for her mother and siblings as well. Katherine understood the importance of of family and would do anything to see all her loved ones happy. She spent her free time creating lifelong memories with her beloved family. Katherine loved visiting Central Park, one of her favorite places, exploring restaurants across New York City, dancing the night away and exposing her loved ones to new adventures, activities and opportunities. Katherine is preceded in death by her father Joseph Diop. She is survived by her mother Katherine Wise; beautiful daughter MacKenzie; three bothers Maurice, Shamel, and Quincy; two sisters, Destiny and Serenity; and a host of cousins and friends.
