OBITUARY:

Earnestine Chambers was born March 11, 1958 to the late Austin Chambers and the late Annie B. Walker Chambers.

Earnestine received her education at Tchula Attendance Center, Tchula, MS; where she graduated in May, 1978.

Earnestine accepted Christ and joined Mount Sinai AME Church. She later joined Lampton AME Church. Earnestine was a dedicated member and a true warrior for the Lord until her health declined. She was the best caregiver and outstanding friend and overseer of the Walker and Chambers family.

Earnestine relocated to Texas where she lived with her niece Lovie Chambers. She moved back to Tchula, MS. She later resided at the Crystal Rehabilitation Nursing Home, in Greenwood, MS.

Earnestine departed her life on June 28, 2021 at Greenwood-Leflore Hospital in Greenwood, MS. She is preceded in death by her grandparents; C.B. and Rose Walker.

Earnestine enjoyed taking her family members to church. She was dedicated to her grandparents, friends and family. She loved all children, even thought she only had one child. She welcomed anyone to her home. Her favorite pastime were cooking, baking, reading the bible and helping children with homework. Earnestine had a pure heart and a strong mind to live and give.

Earnestine leaves to cherish her memories; one son; Alonzo(Audra)Chambers, Dallas, TX; his father; Alonzo Phillips, Atlanta, GA; three brothers; Austin Chambers, Dallas, TX; Alonzo Chambers, Chicago, IL; Ricky (Debra), Champaign, IL; five sisters; Regina Ann Davis, Fort Worth, TX; Gloria (Paul)Simmons, Lansing, IL; Pharis(Alonzo)Anderson, Tchula, MS; Jessie (Sidney)Washington, Tchula, MS; Nicole(Reggie)Tate, Memphis, TN; one special sister, Lucille(Eugene)Young, Tchula, MS; two special friends, Rose and Cody Washington, and a host of nieces, aunts, nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends.
