Marenia "Hat" Bryant Bunn, 89, passed away on July 5, 2021

Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Hunter-Odom Funeral Service, 121 S. Fairview Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27801 with Pastor Florence Nicholson, officiating and Pastor Linwood Grant, Eulogist. Burial will follow at Old Mark Chapel Church Cemetery.

Visitation 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2021 at Hunter-Odom Funeral Service.

My heartfelt condolences to our family during this difficult time. Hat loved my mom Carrie, Aunt Wadie and Aunt Pattie Mae. When she was able she called mom every day and two or three times a day. Mrs. Marenia aka "Hat" was the Life of the Party/ Fellowship/Get together or whatever the occasion was. There was never a dull moment when hanging out with her and Mrs Mattie Bryant. These two kept us laughing so hard we would be crying and couldn't stop. I'm really going to miss her but I will always have her in my heart.❤️ Stay strong and be encouraged of the great person she was. I love you all dearly.
