Calvin attended the public schools of Dillon County and enlisted in the United States Army; due to health issues Calvin returned home and became a Truck Driver and worked for Coward’s Towing and Convenience Store for numerous years.
Calvin was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Clio, South Carolina. He loved cooking, fishing, hunting and landscaping.
Calvin was preceded in death by his brothers: David Morrison, Bozzy Morrison and William Morrison.
Calvin leaves to cherish fond memories ~ four daughters: Valencia Morrison of the home, Beverly, Brandy and Liz Hill of New York; five sons: Shawn (Wyshanda) Lloyd of Dillon, SC, Justin Stanback of Myrtle Beach, SC, Bryson Stanback of High Point, NC, Emmanuel Hill of Dillon, SC and James Calvin Jackson of New York; two sisters: Annie Lee Morrison of Dillon, SC and Annie Lois Mearite of High Point, NC; two aunts: Pennie Mae Carmichael of Lake View, SC and Ella Lee Johnson of Clio, SC; three uncles: Randy Cribb and Frank Cribb both of Lake View, SC and William B. Leonard of Dillon, SC; twenty grandchildren, one special niece: Andrea Ford of Lake View, SC; five special caregivers: Jabriel, Jaylyn, Jalil, Mazurah and Chazz; special friends: Reid Hamilton, Chris Lampley, Rhonda McCrimmon, Brad (Sasha) Coward, Ronald Davis, Mark Jackson and Jesus (Virginia) Valezquez; four special cousins: Marvin Bethea, Edward McCall, Danny Ray Bethea, William Bethea and a host of nieces, nephews
