Kermit E. Carter, 78, of Henrico, died July 9, 2021. Surviving are his wife, Carol M. Carter; two daughters, Tonija Freeman and Torrie Carter; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; six sisters; host of nieces and nephews; host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Thursday, July 29 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 30 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Kermit I haven't seen you in years! Even though I have been over your house so many times! I jokingly told Carol I didn't believe you were upstairs! My daughter is just like you, she's an introvert too! Again jokingly I told Carol that my daughter was your child! The times I did see you, you were so funny! Don't worry we got Lady! Grandpa you were that guy that everyone wanted to be around you kept all of us in tears of laughter every chance you got I think I definitely got my sense of humor from you I love and will always love you everything I've learned about being a man has came from you and I greatly appreciate you for that I will always keep your name alive All the countless memories the amazing food you cooked down to the unconditional LOVE for not just OUR HOUSEHOLD but for your ENTIRE family you have been one of the BIGGEST blessings in my life and you have had an impact on us all I just want to tell you you will never be forgotten and will forever be MISSED I LOVE YOU POPS.. please continue to watch over us and help guide us in the right direction
