Obituary For Josephus Rhoden Sr.

Graveside service for Josephus C. Rhoden, Sr. "JC" 90, will be Wednesday, July 14, at 11 am at the Jennifer Cemetery with Rev. Roger Montgomery, officiating. Mr. Rhoden passed away on July 8, 2021 at Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Rhoden retired from U.S. Pipe, Oxford in 1993. He was a member of Hall Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his children: Gladys (Rev. Roger) Montgomery, Linda (Alfred) Montgomery, Gary (Brenda) Rhoden, Josephus Rhoden, Jr., Paula Burnside, Marilyn (Michael) Forbes, Steven (Janice) Rhoden; sisters: Louise Morris, Celia (Joe Lee) Briskey; 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lucille Rhoden, his wife, Bessie Rhoden, siblings, Henry, Edward, Lonnie and Harold Rhoden, Martha Staples, Pauline Rhoden, Katie Mae McKinney, Gladys Foster and Willie Mae Curry.
