MRS. CHRISTINE BAGLEY DAVIS, daughter of the late Edward and Sallie Jiggetts Bagley was born December 6, 1942 and departed this life July 7, 2021 at her residence, Boydton, VA. She was also preceded in death by four of her siblings-Judson Bagley, Rosa Howell, Willis and Alice Bagley.

At an early age she was baptized and joined Roanoke Chapel United Christian Church and remained a faithful member until her death began to fail. She was a member of the Usher Board for many years.

Christine attended the former East End High School. She was a “Seamstress,” and worked for many years at Virginia Quilting Company until her health declined.

In 1962 she was married to the late John Edward Davis and to this union four children were born.

Christine leaves to mourn two sons- Calvin (Dorinda) Bagley, Richmond, VA and Karl E. Davis, Columbus, GA; two daughters- Teresa Davis, Boydton, VA and Roslin Davis, South Hill, VA; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters-Carrie Davis, Bronx, NY and Thelma (McKinley) Howell, Newark, NJ; one brother-Eddie Lee (Gloria) Bagley, Manhattan, NY; two sisters-in-law, Marie Bagley, Bronx, NY and Jennie Townes, Boydton, VA; three brothers-in-law, Thomas Davis, Wise, NC; James Davis, Baltimore, MD and William Davis, Richmond, VA; one aunt-Bertha Bagley White, Boydton, VA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

To the family of Mrs. Davis I send deepest sympathy... I remember when I was assigned to her as her aide... She was loving caring I remember those morning when I would be there she would talk to me about the lord n tell me to pray or our many laughs I'm going to miss her... To Roslin, Karl, and Teresa you all our truly in my prayers
