MR. EDWARD MCKINLEY WILLIAMS, son of the late Lorraine Williams Jackson and Leroy Patillo was born February 29, 1980 in Mecklenburg County, Virginia and departed this life July 7, 2021 in Hopewell, VA.

He attended the Mecklenburg County Public Schools. He later moved to Hopewell where he was employed by Red Lobster Restaurant.

Edward leaves to mourn a son- Eljia Williams of Georgia; God- daughter-Leeyannia Palmer and her child-Jaliya Santiago, both of Harrisburg, PA; two aunts-April (Timothy) Williams-Dunbar of Hopewell, VA and Gail (Lorenzo) Woodard of Harrisburg, PA: one uncle- McArthur (Marilyn) Williams of Richmond, VA; 11 great-aunts, 3 great-uncles; 4 great-great-aunts; 2 great-great-uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
