HAROLD ALBERT BURROWS, Jr. was born August 25, 1953, to SSgt. Harold Albert Burrows and Lillie Marie Barber in Cherry Point, North Carolina. He is a graduate of Tuskegee University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He later returned to school to get his Masters in Aeronautical Management. Harold was a proud and honored member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity. Harold joined the military upon graduation where he served honorably for 12 years. Upon separating from the military, he later earned his Real Estate License, and as a broker established Legacy Real Estate Associates, Inc.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents Harold Albert Burrows, Lillie Marie Barber, his sister Harolyn Marie Burrows, and his step father Joseph D. Dunn.

Harold's military career took him and his family to numerous states, and countries. During his time in the Air Force, he earned the Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, Expert Marksman Ribbon, and Air Force Outstanding Unit award.

He quietly passed away July 6, 2021, at 11:55 am in Decatur, Georgia. He lived his life for family, friends, and community that he loved so much, and his influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him.

Harold leaves to cherish his memory his wife Ramona Burrows, five daughters Tenequa Burrows (Stockbridge, GA), Karl and Tonetta Christie (Wilkesboro, NC), Patrick and Harolyn Byers (Jacksonville, FL), Savannah Binion (Stone Mountain, GA) and Sydney Burrows (Stone Mountain, GA). Blessed be the ties that bind – his grandchildren Torria Green, Johannah Walden, Tierra Burrows, Dominique Wildy, Ariana Walden, Joseph Walden, and Madison Walden. Great-grandchildren Marcus, Kaylin, Zyon, Zaniyah, Zayn and two more on the way. Harold’s generous spirit, pleasant personality and dedication to his family and friends will forever be missed.

The family will hold a small private Celebration of Life Ceremony for Harold Albert Burrows, Jr. on Saturday, July 17, 2021 1:00 PM.
