Rufus Waldo Meyers, Sr., 91, of New Bern died Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Croatan Village Assisted Living.

Viewing hours are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Friday at Oscar's Mortuary.

His funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 24, 2021 at St. John M. B. Church 1130 Walt Bellamy Dr. Burial will follow at New Bern Memorial Cemetery.

He is survived by two sons, Rufus W. Meyers, Jr. of West Palm Beach, FL and Maurice Meyers of New Bern; one daughter, Angela Scott of New Bern; one sister, Shirley Faunkler of Amissville, VA; twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
