Oliver McQueen was born on October 7, 1936 in Forest, Mississippi to the late Will Mack McQueen and Feebie Spencer. God called him home on July 11, 2021, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital In Carthage, Mississippi. He was a member of Christian Union M.B. Church until his health decline. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren as well as planting and growing his garden.

He was preceded in death by parents Will and Feebie McQueen, wife Mattie McQueen, two brothers, one sister, and one daughter.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted children, Oliver Wendell McQueen; Roger Clark McQueen (Frankie); Chryeal McQueen; and Sabrena McQueen Keeler (Gray). Seven grandchildren, Roger Clark Jr., Luke Oliver McQueen, Rodgrick Sherrod; Briana, Bethany and JaLeigha. Five great-grandchildren. One sister Ethel Nicholson of Carthage, MS and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
