To the family of Dianna Jones, Your wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and best friend was a beautiful soul. Her quiet spirit, her infectious smile and the willingness to help everyone who needed it will always be my fond memory of her. Diamonds are rarely made on this Earth, but just know she was one of them. My heart goes out to each of you but when you feel you don't have the strength to carry on, the tears just won't stop flowing or the hole in your heart feels unbearable, just look up and ask God to carry you and he will. Fondly, Brenda Walton/colleague Bensley Elementary School

Mr. Jones and Family, words cannot express how sadden I am. Dianna was a dear friend and colleague. She was always upbeat about her life and job. She truly loved her job and put forth her best every day. The students at Bensley loved her, as well as her colleagues. She was like a sister to me and was a joy to talk to. I loved her smile and will always remember that smile. Cherish the memories always! She will deeply be missed! Praying for you. Denise Mitchell

"Dianna's FAITH is STILL Speaking - Loud!!!" Remembrance: Hello Family, I've been thanking the Lord in my heart for Dianna and thought I'd share with you as well. Dianna has planted so many seeds of God's wisdom, goodness and encouragement and I trust HIM to grant Alvin and her a great harvest!!! Here is just one example that is still reaping dividends in my life: Dianna, Just before you ministered in song some years back, you gave a word of exhortation to the congregation regarding Worship unto God. Bishop Mason was so moved that he asked you in front of the congregation if you would write it down for him. After service that day, I asked you for a copy too and here is what you wrote (I still have the paper and have kept it even after downsizing twice and relocating to Virginia Beach): "What one word would you use to describe your worship: Is it: Distracted? Unfocused? Rushed? Chore? OR Intentional? Passionate? Unrestrained? Pure?" Thank You Lord Jesus for allowing Dianna's Life in our Lives!!! Fred and Janet Virginia Beach, Virginia

Mr. Jones, Ryan, and Jared we pray you feel the Lord's strength and comfort during this time of loss. Dianna was a shining representation of God's love, and her Bensley school family will forever miss her physical presence. But we do believe that to "Be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" and her spirit will always be felt as we continue to share her love for reading with our kiddos. Dr. Patrice Wilson

Words cannot express how deeply sadden I am currently. Mrs. Jones was my mentor at Bensley Elementary and everything I know now is because of her. She exemplified professionalism in every aspect and had such a great passion for what she did. I will miss her dearly and will never forget her beautiful smile and words of encouragement to me. Rest in Jesus, Queen. I love you. ~ Javitta W. Gay
