That was also the mindset of Mel, in addition to clinging to her favorite quote “I Put All My Faith In God, No Other.”

It was God in his infinite wisdom, the one who never make any mistakes, has decided to call the life of Mel from labor to reward.

Ms. Melonie Straughter (47) of Valdosta, GA. was born on Thursday, February 20, 1974 and was a 1992 graduate of Miami Edison Senior High School. On Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare Hospital, “Mel” placed her hand in his hand and kissed this world goodbye.

Mel’s Life Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 3:00 PM from the Valdosta Performing Arts Center - Address: 3101 North Forrest Street, Valdosta, GA.

Ms. Melonie Straughter will be laid to rest at the Pallbearer Cemetery - Address: 2660 Riverside Road, Valdosta, GA.
