Wardell Raines was my uncle, whom was my mother Evone"s oldest brother. My mother told me how protective Wardell was over her and their other siblings. I remember how generous my uncle Wardell was with his smiles and laughter although our visits were too few. My prayers are for his sons and their families; For my Grandmother Ruth Raines, for my mother Evone and her remaining siblings, May God comfort you all in your loss and remember my Uncle Wardell Raines. I was so lucky to be a small part of Mr Raines life. We quickly became friends and I enjoyed our visits very much. He has a wonderful family and my prayers are with them Judy Mathews, social worker
