Obituary For Charles Burton

Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there; I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sun on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there; I did not die.

Mr. Charles Burton, 67 of Macon, North Carolina departed this life on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Maria Parham Hospital, Henderson, North Carolina.

Memorial Service will be conducted on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton, North Carolina. Reverend, Don Stith will officiate.

Left to cherish his memories are: his son Christopher Bullock of the home; his grandson Hakeem Bullock; a devoted life partner, Gladys Bullock, of the home; one brother, James Burton, of Manson, NC; four aunts, Mattie Taylor, of Greensboro, NC; Mary Jiggetts, of Brooklyn NY; Margaret Bryant & Lizzie Jiggetts, both of Warrenton, NC; one niece, LaTonya Dunston(Melvin) of Warrenton, NC; one nephew, Dwyane Talley(Kristie) of Norlina, NC; a special friend & riding partner, James (Son) Boyd; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives & friends.
