Mrs. Nadine I'm deeply saddened at the passing of your husband. I've often thought about the name Quarterman and it's origin being close friends of (Tommie and Gloria) I was curious and at this time of loss I wanted to share what I found out. The last sentence and the suit of armor is what I hope for you as a Quarterman. "The name Quarterman is from the ancient Anglo-Saxon tribes of Britain. The name was given to a person who was a person who was mail-fisted or perhaps the nickname 'four hands. ' The surname Quarterman originally derived from the armor that soldiers or knights donned for protection in battle". My hopes for you is that you know you will be protected just like your name says and that you have the protection of the Lord to help you through. May God continue to bless you and your family forever. Priscilla and Gary Patterson San Antonio, Texas.
