Obituary For Floydelia Spruill

Mrs. Floydelia Spruill passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021.

A service honoring her life will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Providence Baptist Church, 1106 Tuscaloosa St, Greensboro, NC 27406. The visitation will begin at 11:30am and the service will follow at 12:00pm. Burial Lakeview Memorial Park.

Westley, the grace and dignity that you embody and the beauty that you have created and continue to create as an artist and a craftsman are testaments to the devotion you had for your beloved mother. She appreciated beautiful things and cultivated beauty in her life, she held you very close to her heart, she appreciated the elegance of your creativity and she loved you dearly. Only God knows the lengths you went to ensure that mom was delivered safely to the resting place your Father prepared for her! Thanks to your heroic efforts and Gods grace she is safely home now and she and your dad are tremendously grateful! Be at great peace with the work you have done on their behalf! Aunt Dee was always full of surprises & was never at a loss for the right reply in situations. Not only that, Aunt Dee could make the most awkward, the most tense moments vanish with just the perfect saying and a wink of her eye.

Westley, I never met your mother, but knowing what a wonderful son she raised, I can only imagine how lovely she was. Michael and I were both so very sorry to hear the news of her passing. Losing your mom is so life-changing. I know I felt that regardless of how much I am loved by others, nothing could match the way my mother loved me. Capture that love and keep it in your heart.
