Joel Elizabeth Godette Brown, 68, of Clinton, Maryland a native of Beaufort, North Carolina died Friday, July 16, 2021 at her residence.

Viewing hours are 12:00 AM to 5:00 PM Thursday at Oscar's Mortuary.

Her funeral service is 11:00 AM Friday at Queen Street M. B. Church 501 Queen St., Beaufort. The interment will follow at the Godette Cemetery, Dewey Rd., Havelock.

She is survived by her husband, Toby Brown, Clinton, MD; son, Joel Tobias Brown, Winterville, NC; three brothers, Sonny Godette, Jeffery Godette both of Beaufort, Hunter Godette of New Jupiter, NJ; two sisters, Maggie Godette of Beaufort and Dot Lou Godette of San Antonio, TX.
