We honor and commemorate the life of Yvonne L. Zellars; as known by family, Bon Bon. A mother, a wife, a grandmother, Aunt, sister, and a beautiful radiant soul. With a smile that could light up any room, Bon Bon was a natural nurturer. She dedicated her life to assuring those she loved and cared about had a safe haven to always call home. With a big heart, Yvonne loved those around her deeply. Born from the concrete of Harlem, New York, she was strong and the wits she gained from her tough surroundings paved the way for her new life she dreamed of in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She traveled the world and started a Business to provide for her biological daughter, Dannielle who she would move the mountains and sea for if necessary. She raised 5 nephews and 2 nieces. Her laughter was contagious and if there’s anything she would love to be remembered by, it would be her compassion and her will to make life worth living one day at a time. She lives on through her loving family.
