It was with deepest sorrow that Lavender’s Funeral Service announced the passing of MR. WILLIAM "CHILLY WILLY" STEELE, 55 of Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

PUBLIC VISITATION for Mr. William Steele of Tuscaloosa, Alabama wSaturas day, July 24, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lavender's Funeral Service.

THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY OF Mr. William Steele was Sunday, July 25, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at New Canaan Baptist Church, 1105 Wilson Road in Aliceville, Alabama. The body of Mr. Steele was in state in the church one hour prior to the service.

INTERMENT was in Magnolia Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 9654 Highway 14, also in Aliceville, Alabama. Reverend Quinton Prude, Pastor of Providence Baptist Church in Aliceville, Alabama was The Eulogist.

I only learned of the passing of Chilly Will yesterday, but I want to express sincere sympathy to the Steele families and the many friends of Mr. Steele. May God comfort you all and know that through your pain and grief, God loves you. The Lewis Family Flint, MI

Will this hard man, there are so many memories all the way back to middle school like hanging out at the house or going skating on Sunday, but I never imagined I would have to say goodbye, but it's not goodbye I'll see you on the other side, in the mean time rest well, you will be miss.
