Obituary For Henry Milton Morris

A memorial service for Henry Milton Morris, 73, will be 1 p.m. on Aug. 3, 2021, at Terry’s Mortuary Chapel.

Mr. Henry Milton Morris was born on July 15, 1958, to Ruby Love Morris in Talladega, Alabama

Mr. Morris confessed Christ as his savior and united with Star of Zion AME Church. He was educated in the public schools of Talladega. Henry continued his education at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio and worked as an electrical contractor.

On Wednesday, June 21, 2021, Henry was called to his eternal rest. He was preceded in passing by his mother, Ruby Love Morris; and four brothers, Ronald "Big Bruh" Morris, Donald “Puny” Morris, Diamond Gem "Jimmy" Morris and Robert Morris.

Henry’s memories will forever remain in the hearts of his two sisters Julia Ann Capers of Dayton, Ohio and Gwendolyn Garrett of Talladega, Alabama; two brothers, Rev. Hugh (Andrea) Morris of Talladega, Alabama and Tyrone Morris of Clanton, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Henry Morris. I well remember the Morris boys growing up and helping out in the Bryant Morris Grocery Store. Always happy and always helpful was Henry's nature. May his legacy be the joy he brought to others, as he created a useful life for himself. May he rest in Peace.
