Obituary For Margie Louise Baker

Mrs. Margie L. Baker, 74, Columbus, GA passed, Friday, July 23, 2021 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. EST Friday, July 30, 2021 at Grant Chapel A.M.E Church Rev. Oscar Daise, Pastor, officiating and Bishop Leveret Baker, eulogist. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery Columbus, GA. Visitation is Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 12-5 p.m. EST

Mrs. Margie Louise Baker was born June 4, 1947 to the late Walter Lee and the late Willie Mae Baker in Phenix City, AL. Mrs. Baker worked at numerous restaurants, was a home healthcare worker and managed her own restaurant. she was a lover of people, loved to cook, sing in her church choir and helping anyone that she came in contact with.

She leaves to cherish her memories four sisters, Josephine Chadwick, Dorothy Cobb, Chandra Faye (David) Hall and Gwen Baker; four sons, Rodriquez Baker, Bishop Kelvin Levere (Michelle) Baker, Michael Baker and Thaddeus Baker; one daughter, Kimberly (Karl) Williams; a special son, Timothy (Angela) Minter 20 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
