Annette Marie Dokes

Knoxville - Annette Marie Dokes- age 69 of Knoxville passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021 after a brief illness.

She is preceded in death by twin sister, Jeanette McGinnies; Brother, Ronald Dokes, Sr; Cousin that raised as a sister, Beaulah Dokes.

She is survived by her Son and only child Doug "Chill" Dokes Sr; nieces and nephews: Kathy, Charles, and Cynthia McGinnis; Grandchildren, Great-granchildren, cousins other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel.

The final resting place will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery immediately following the service.

Ms. Dokes will lie in state on Friday, July 23, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
