Sheila Marie Travers 59, of Powder Springs, Georgia was born September 21, 1958 in Fall River, Massachusetts to her parents John and Helen Freitas. The Lord called Sheila home on February 23, 2018. Her family will welcome guest for a Remembrance Hour beginning at 10:00 AM and memorial service for 11:00 AM on Saturday March 10, 2018 in the funeral homes chapel, 4405 Marietta Street, Powder Springs, GA 30127.

Sheila I will miss you my dear! The lunch dates to go and get chilli dogs. The wonderful treats you would make for us. Honey you made the best meatballs , and my favorite, your cream cheese frosting. You made me feel so special , when you would bring me an extra tub filled with the bomb frosting. I remember we went to lunch and we pulled in the parking lot, honey we called security and the cops , about someone in your car.lol it was your honey bun, we laughed so hard..We had good times , i promise you i will never forget you , and all the pep talks and you given me strenght to fight through my issues. I love you , and i will alway chuckle when i think of you , the little feisty Portuguese lady. Love Alto

Sheila was my sister from another mother. She was a blessing to everyone she met. She will always be vanilla Sheila and I will always be her pecan tan Shelia. I love her sweet spirit and her angelic smile. Her middle name should have been love, for that is always what she portrayed. She fed many on her journey and I'm sure,she is still doing the same. God loved her best, but I love her no less. Rest in peace my sweet Sheila. I love and miss you more than any words can say. I got your back!!!!

Sheila was a kind and compassionate person, I have so many wonderful memories that I am holding close to my heart, I will never forget all of the silly things we did together, love always, Sheila will be greatly missed by all.
