Hey cousins, your mom and Ruthie rode my GTA bus (#7 Friendly Ave.) and was always kind and pleasant on her way to Friendly Center. I enjoyed our conversations and especially how she talked about the Gordon family and how we are cousins with our roots coming from Rock Hill, SC. I remember her kind smile, she was a gentle soul that this world needs more of and will be greatly missed. You have my sincerest condolences and prayers that our God will continue to sustain you through this time of mourning! Roger Brice

A tribute to the Matriarch of the Brown and Gordon families, Aunt Frances. Although we ca no longer receive your advice as we have done over the years. But what I will do is cherish the value system that you Aunt Frances instilled in each and every one of us. Your kindness, thoughtfulness, patience and most of all wisdom are the attributes that make you more beautiful to me than ever. I'm going to miss you Aunt Frances. Your mother's love and kindness was contagious and her memory will live on forever. My Dearest Aunt Frances meant the world to me, she was like a second mother to me. We had some good times together here in Rock Hill (Her home town) and in Greensboro. We love to shop, talk about food and work. But most of all she loved to reminisce about her childhood. Oh, how she loves her family. She may be gone but she will never be forgotten. My heartfelt condolences on the family's loss. Your niece, Loretta Gaines
