Campin Berley Merritt, 84, a native of Pamlico County, died Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at her residence in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The viewing is from 9:0O a.m. - 11:00 a.m. with service immediately following at 11 a.m. at the Emmanuel Johnson Funeral Home Inc., 6353-75 Chew Avenue, Interment, Ivy Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia.

Campin is survived by her daughter, Carol Merritt Davis; son-in-law Norman Davis; son, Ronald Devall Merritt all of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law.

Campin was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Hezekiah Merritt; son Carlton Leon Merritt, four sisters; six brothers. Campin was the youngest of Tom and Amanda’s eleven children.
