MR. ROBERT SAMUEL MORTON, JR. - Age 64, - Of LaFayette, Georgia passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021at a local health care. He was born October 14, 1956 to the late Robert S. Morton, Sr. and Barbara Shoemaker Morton Jordan. He was preceded by his parents, brothers, Julius, Sterling, and Albert Morton, Sr.; and one sister, Deborah Smith. Robert was a member of Napier Chapel A. M. E. Church.

Robert is survived by five sisters, Barbara Brown, Sherry Toliver, Cassandra Jordan, Cathleen (Jackie) Reeves, and Sandra Powell; 3 uncles, Waymon Shoemaker, James (Grace) Shoemaker, and Robert (Lara) Shoemaker; aunt, Catherine Marsh; great aunt, Katherine Stevenson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 11:00 A. M. in the Chapel with Bishop Reuben Graham as Eulogist. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday, after 12:00 noon until the service. Interment, Napier Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
