Obituary For Thomas Logan Smith

Thomas Smith 54 of Mt. Pleasant Texas died Tuesday February 27, 2018. Services will be held Monday 5, 2018 at 12 p.m. at New Beginnings Community Church of God In Christ in Mt. Pleasant, Texas; Pastor Mack Jones officiating. Interment will at Edwards Cemetery. Services are under the direction of J.C. White Funeral & Cremation Services of Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Online condolences may be left at www.jcwhitefd.com. Tommy” was born October 31, 1963 to Robert Edwin Smith and Jeri Buchanan Smith in Irving Texas. Thomas Logan Smith “Tommy” lived most of his life at Denton State School until 2012 when it was closed down. Tommy was then relocated to Abundant Life HCS group home in Dallas, Texas. He later moved to Abundant Life HCS group home in Mt. Pleasant, Tx. These later years Tommy lived in a small loving family home where he received a lot of love and care. Thomas “Tommy” Smith was preceded in death with his mother Jeri Smith who was called home in October 2017. His surviving family members are dad Robert “Dallas” Smith and wife Lora living in North Little Rock, Arkansas. His sister Cindy Derbyshire and husband John with children Chelsea and Hannah living in Grapevine, Texas. His Extended Family was Abundant Life HCS in which he leaves to mourn his Extended mother Dottie Frazier and special friends ShaKeitha Wiley and Lacey DeLeon and all of the staff who loved and took care of him. Tommy was truly a little angel on earth that everyone loved so much. Tommy had so much love in his heart and had so many surrounding people who truly loved him. He will be missed but never forgotten.
