Sallie Mae Brown was born October 17, 1930 to Henry Craddock and Lillie Newton in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. She was peacefully called home on March 2, 2018 She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. She joined the White Oak Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Supt. Harold Tudman and later joined Full Gospel Pentecostal Church of Mt. Pleasant, Texas under the leadership of Bishop L. K. McGill. Sallie married Jessie L. Brown and to the union seven children was born. She was preceded in death by her husband Jessie L. Brown and one son, Bennie Brown. She leaves to cherish, three sons, Eddie Brown (Gwen) of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Kenneth Brown of Naples, Texas and Derrick Brown (Bettie) of Longview, Texas. Three daughters, Glenda Brown and Anetha Wilson (Bobby) of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Ruth Brown of Arlington, Texas. Eight grandchildren, Eddie Brown, Jr. (LaTosha), Denise Brown, Marsha Dudley (Victor), Tanisha Price (Jay), Brandon House, Monete Brown, Jessica Brown and Katara Hines (Shannon). Thirty-seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. A daughter-in-law, Gwenette Brown of Pittsburg, Texas.
