Obituary For Mr. Melvin McDuffie

Melvin McDuffie, son of the late Lonnie and Willie Mae McDuffie was born on January 16, 1943. He entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 2, 2018 at his residence in Hartsville, South Carolina.

Melvin was educated in the public schools in Dillon County, South Carolina.

Preceding Melvin in death ~ his parents; one great-grandson: Kylen McDuffie; three sisters: Minnie Tanksley, Lonnie Mae McKellar, Lizzie Lewis; two brothers: Joe McDuffie and James McDuffie.

Melvin leaves to cherish loving memories ~ his devoted wife of fifty-two years: Gladys McDuffie of the home; one daughter: Yolanda McDuffie of Hartsville, SC; three grandchildren: Corey Johnson Jr., Kiira McDuffie, Kiisha Hilliard all of Hartsville SC; one great-grandchild: Jaiden McDuffie of Hartsville SC; six sisters: Fannie Bell Bryant of Dillon, SC, Mary Alice (Jessie) Dingle of Spring Lake, NC, Anne Baldwin, Ernestine (James) Bridges both of Hope Mills, NC, Phyllis Strickland, Sarah (Josh) Hastey both of West Haven, CT; three brothers: Henry (Mary) McDuffie of Dillon, SC, William (Peggy) McDuffie of Charlotte, NC, Frank McDuffie of Fayetteville, NC; four brothers-n-law, four sisters-n-law and a hosts of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
